GRANTS

Supporting Local Breast Cancer Services

Through the funds raised at our three signature events, the Pink Ribbon Open awards annual grants to organizations providing breast cancer education, screening, diagnostics, treatment, and support services to uninsured and underserved individuals in the Mid-South.

Each grant awarded reflects our deep commitment to helping local partners make a direct impact in the lives of women and men affected by breast cancer.

How to Request a Grant

We invite organizations that align with our mission to submit a grant proposal for consideration. The application process is simple and straightforward:

Step 1: Determine Eligibility

Your organization must:

  • Serve individuals in Shelby County, Tennessee

  • Provide services related to breast cancer education, prevention, diagnostics, or treatment

  • Be a nonprofit or healthcare organization in good standing

Step 2: Submit Your Proposal

We accept both online and printed submissions.

Each proposal must include:

  • A description of your proposed project(s) and goals

  • Target audience and expected number of participants

  • A project timeline and detailed outline of activities

  • Your organization’s mission statement

  • A breakdown of total project cost and the amount (or percentage) requested from the Breast Cancer Eradication Initiative.

A member of our Grant Committee may contact you to discuss your proposal further.

Step 3: Review & Notification

Applications are reviewed by our board’s Grant Committee.

We may also request that recipients host a visit from a board member during the year to see your work in action.
